It's time to make sauce!
The oblong, bright red skin with deep unattractive cracks are your San Marzano tomatoes. These are the tomatoes that you'll always find in stores sold in cans.........
These San Marzano tomatoes are the best to make sauce with, however, don't be shy to try them fresh ! They are full of flavor, sweet and juicy you'll wonder why you stayed away from buying these unattractive tomtoes at the farm stand!
Make a huge batch and can or freeze some for the winter, you'll be happy you did!
