Please park your car on the East end of the grass field.
Our farm stand will be open at the time but we can still mingle underneath the white tent.
We'd like to begin promtly at 10 am so set your alarms and come out to the farm!

The farm in your kitchen........
Your red and yellow cippolini onions are sweet and mild and is ideal for roasting or caramelizing, either way they will melt in your mouth they are so good!
Another member of the onion family, leeks! These are quite different from cippolini in flavor, aroma and texture. Again they also have a mild onion flavor.
Leeks are commonly used in soups married with potatoes but are also added to many tarts and stir fry dishes.
Pictures of the farm this week........
In order for us to harvest carrots we first use large forks
to break up the soil around the carrots so we could pull them out of the ground without break the tips off.
Erol snips the spent green tops before they go in for washing
and storing in our cooler.
Every Thursday during our CSA pick up I am left with
a smile when I see the kids run up to the goats and feed
them grass. They love visitors!
Sunflower harvest was bountiful this week.
Be sure to pick up a bouquet on Thursday!
Chris's best friend, praying mantis.

every Sunday until the end of October,
10am until 3pm.
On the farm our farm market stand is open on
Thursdays 4 to 7pm

Brussel Sprouts are huge right now but still won't be
ready until October.
Don't forget about the tour this Saturday, 10 am until noon!
Of course this is over doing it with the helmet as I get on the 4 wheeler to tend to the flower and vegetable fields............some of you that come to the farm stand on Thursdays have noticed that it's a bit rough on Millburn Road trying to get in and out of the farm. There has been some honking and screeching on the road and i've received a few emails about your concerns on the speed limit here and am already trying to get a few professional answers/solutions to this issue. If any of you have concerns/comments please send me an email. Our farm is here for the community and I would like to keep it safe as possible as we grow and expand the organic farm, thank you!
Eat Well!
Your farmers,
